Interlibrary loan (ILL) is available to all current SHU students, faculty, and staff. Only items not owned by Reeves Memorial Library may be requested.
Interlibrary loan is a free service, but fines will be added to a requestor’s account in the following circumstances:
- A $1.00 charge per requested item, if it is owned by Reeves Memorial Library
- A $5.00 charge for each book that is not picked up by the due date, or each article that is not picked up within 30 days
- $1.00 per day per item overdue charge for all books, sound recordings, etc.
Borrowing periods for ILL materials are set by the lending library and vary according to each institution’s policies.
