Log In

When you access a database or an article from the library's web site, you will be prompted to log in with your SHU ID (the first part of your SHU e-mail address) and password.  This should take you directly to what you are searching for.

Having trouble with remote access?

If you encounter a broken link or cannot get into a resource, here are some steps you can take that may resolve the problem:

  1. Reload the page.
  2. Make sure your browser will accept cookies.
  3. Wait a few minutes and try again. A few resources we have a limited number of simultaneous users. When the maximum number of users are logged in, you could be denied access. 
  4. Change to a different browser and/or computer. This can help determine if the problem is the computer configuration, local cookies, or the electronic resource.

If you still cannot get into the resource, please send an e-mail using your Seton Hill email address to stanley@setonhill.edu.  Provide the name of the database, a complete description of the problem, and the browser that you are using.  Also, If you are in the resource, but have encountered a broken link, provide full details about what you are looking for and we may be able to resolve the linking or find it another way for you obtain the material.
