This tutorial will walk you through developing a topic, a specific research question, and how to come up with good search terms.
MedlinePlus is a website that was written for patients, but it can be a good starting point for your own research. Much like Wikipedia, this website can give you ideas and can link you to good sources, but it's not something that you should be citing or relying on directly. Do a search in the top right of the website, or browse the Health Topics starting pages for the issue you are researching.
Peer-reviewed articles are the "gold standard" for college research sources. You can find them in the Library's databases, and you can find a lot of high-quality peer-reviewed medical articles on websites provided by the U.S. National Institute of Health.
