Congratulations to both of our 2025 winners!

Madison McCall received the award in the Junior & Senior division for the paper, "Treating Chronic Plaque Psoriasis Using a Microneedle Patch." The reviewers said that this project was "well written," "very detailed," and "exceeds expectations for undergraduate work." The entry was sponsored by Dr. Donna Haworth-Ward.

Ella Peck was the first-year/sophomore level award winner for the project, "The Continuous Mental Battle for Cancer Survivors: A Qualitative Study." Our review panelists called it a "very meaningful and well done project" and said "the primary research completed was impressive and really added to the information described in the literature review." The entry was sponsored by Prof. Luke McDermott.

Thank you to all of the students who entered and to the faculty who sponsored them! We received a number of excellent projects, which made the judging quite a challenge. We hope that those of you who will be at SHU next year will consider entering!
