Free audiobooks from the public domain. The books are read and recorded by volunteers. Most books were published prior to 1923. Download mp3s or subscribe to a book's feed in podcast format.

Project Gutenberg offers free digital copies of many "classics" and other out-of-copyright books. These ebooks are free in the United States because their copyright has expired. They may not be free of copyright in other countries. Readers outside of the United States must check the copyright laws of their countries before downloading or redistributing these ebooks.
