Artstor

1. Go to the Databases page on the library website.

2. Select Artstor from the list of databases.

3. Log in by entering your SHU username and password.

4. At the main Artstor page, click "Enter Artstor Digital Library" in the top center part of the page.

5. You can now begin searching or browsing the Artstor image collection, or you can log in to your Artstor account to take advantage of additional features and user tools.  If you don't already have an existing Artstor account, you can register by clicking the link in the upper right corner of the page, under the "Welcome to Artstor" heading:

All users can find and view images without registering for an Artstor account.  However, registered users can create image groups, download images, and export entire image groups, in addition to the basic features.

To register for an account, follow these simple steps:

1. Log in to Artstor through the library’s website with your SHU username and password.  Access the Artstor Digital Library.
2. In the Log In area at the upper right side of the screen, click Register.
3. Complete the registration form using a valid email address and password (your SHU email address would be best).  DO NOT use symbols (e.g., ? /\ <>+ # %) or diacritics (e.g., é å ï ñ ô).
4. Click Submit.
5. You will automatically be logged in to your new account. The Log In area will change to display a welcome message and your email address.
