Click on "Journal Rankings" and then select your discipline to generate a list of matching journals. Each journal profile contains information about both its scope and its metrics-- so you can see how many times articles are cited by other publications, how many "self-cites" there are, how many of the articles don't contain bibliographies, etc., to get a sense of how influential and rigorous the journal is or is not.

This tool allows you to enter your manuscript title and abstract or main keywords and supporting keywords, and then it generates a list of potential publication venues along with pertinent information (publisher, impact factor, open access or not, etc.). You'll get better results by entering keywords rather than your title and abstract. Use this as a starting point only; it currently lists only larger, national and international journals. Many high-quality publications will not be listed here.
